Businesses applying for a Liquor License will require an inspection and approval Letter. The fee for an inspection is $200 plus HST, and the associated letter is $100 plus HST.

Note: Liquor Licenses for special events do not usually require Fire Services inspection.

Occupant Load

Businesses and gathering places often require inspection and documentation to advise of allowable occupant load. The fee for an inspection is $200 plus HST, and the associated letter is $100 plus HST.

Owner/Agent Request

Property Owners or agents acting on behalf of property owners can request an inspection to ensure a property complies with Fire Code requirements. These inspections are common upon sale or licensing of a property for a variety of reasons. The fee for an inspection is $200 plus HST. An optional compliance letter advising of results of the inspection is $100 plus HST.
